It's true that there's life beyond the Shoulder Bridge and the Kegel when it comes to prescribing exercises to clients with pelvic floor dysfunction, but do you know the real reasons why standing exercises are so incredibly beneficial for our pelvic floor patients? Whilst it's a delicious experience to lay our postnatal clients on their backs post-pregnancy, it's not always practical to do this (particularly once you throw a baby/toddler and/or a four-legged friend into the mix!), and if workout space is an issue for you or your client, you need to put your thinking cap on for sure, don't you? In this episode, Claire is highlighting a recent client case study where she relieved a client (22 years post-birth!), of her stress and urge incontinence symptoms by prescribing standing exercises only.
